Students need supplies when they come to school; there's really no way to get around it. Students in an English classroom not only need the basics (paper and pencil), but they also need the means to express their thoughts and ideas creatively. This area is at a disadvantage due to the high poverty rate; many of these students can't afford school supplies or have forgone purchasing supplies so that they can purchase food or other necessities. This project will allow students to come to English class every day without the worry about the supplies that they may not have. Students will have everything that they need already in the room for them to use when they come in.
