This project is requesting a mobile listening center that will allow students to have the opportunity to hear literature in both Spanish and English. They will explore new and familiar stories that introduce vocabulary, model listening skills and different genres. The students will be able to acquire and build on their vocabulary as well as an understanding of oral reading fluency. The students will be exposed to authentic stories from different Hispanic countries representing the different cultures. This mobile listening center will allow all the materials to be organized and stay in one place as well as with the limited space in the classroom. Your gift will encourage students to enjoy reading and listening to stories as well as develop their journey into lifelong independent readers. Thank you!
