Students will have the opportunity to choose to sit in these stools when working collaboratively or working independently. It will help them focus and stay on task. Research has shown that movement helps our brain to remember better and keep our attention. Students come with a variety of learning needs and this is one way to meet those needs. It can be used by any learner and provides students with a choice in the classroom. This stool gives a bit of wiggle room, without being distracting to other students. Class sizes are increasing and students' room to walk around a class this year will be limited and less convenient and safe. Students who have classes with chairs like this report positively about the impact of them on their learning.
