The materials that I have selected will help our classroom stay organized, focused, and driven. To help students stay organized, I am requesting a storage shelf with bins. Additionally, I am requesting a doorbell to help students transition from one activity to the next easily. The Magic Tree House books will allow students to go on adventures in their minds! Students will be in this room for a majority of their day and one of my biggest goals is to insure that they feel comfortable being in our space. Each of these objects will play a part in creating the "safe haven" atmosphere I want each of them to experience, I'm determined for each child to feel apart of the classroom I am creating. Safe Haven: A place of refuge or security. Through many years of school, I have had all kind of teachers but those who went beyond to insure I felt safe and engaged will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope that I have the same impact to my students that you have on me.
