A strong classroom community is integral to students' success. A classroom rug would give my students a place to come together as a community for morning meeting, circle up activities throughout the day, a place where they could work in small groups, and allow for versatile seating within the classroom as my students need to get out of their seats. Right now they sit four to a table. A rug would provide a comfortable place for my students to expand their learning space. As classrooms go, the setting in mine is cinder block walls and a cold tile floor. A classroom rug would make our classroom more aesthetically appealing and serve as an inviting learning space.

About my class
