As a teenager, I suffered many seizures which I eventually outgrew, but inherited horrible migraines. The fluorescent lights in my classroom do not help. After a long day I find I need 20 minutes in a dark room before having a productive night. If the lights in my classroom are affecting me, I know there must be a few students who get headaches from them as well. I've done it research on the shades I'm asking for and everything I have found speaks to the headaches that fluorescent lights can cause. An added value to having these shades over fluorescent lighting is the calm ambiance the shades create.
