These materials will make a difference in my students' learning in a number of ways. Many of our daily lessons and much of our learning incorporates or culminates with projects! These projects frequently require the use of these requested supplies such as markers (both dry erase and for posters), chart paper, construction paper, Post-its, and index cards. This year I want students to be able to simply focus on the projects and activities at hand and not on whether their materials are going to be available or not. The donations to this project will help students enhance and expand their projects to match their inner creativity! Students use chart paper and makers to make Graffiti walls during ELA. They use Post-its to give feedback to their peers' presentations during social studies. We give weekly affirmations using index cards and Post-its. During science, dry erase markers are essential for students to sketch and design their ideas on their whiteboards beforehand. And last, but certainly not least, construction paper is a flexible supply that can be used tons of ways!
