When you were in school, didn't you want to move around your classroom and work in a different location other than your assigned seat? Well now I am encouraging this. Most of my students come from homes where parents are working hard to support their kids, but not available to teach, read, or do projects with them. I want my students to have personal connections with each other. I also want to see my students working together to challenge each other to do their ultimate best. Working with a strategically placed partner, these portable activity tables will encourage self motivation and drive. My students will be able to speak their minds, create their ideas, and work their hardest in different areas around the classroom, all with a flat surface to do their work on.
