Because of your kindness and support, my classroom is now stocked with essential materials and engaging resources that have already made a meaningful difference in my students' learning experiences every single day.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donations, we received folders, glue sticks, Expo markers, pencils, a digital classroom clock, and a variety of fun and creative items such as board games, Perler bead sets, calming stickers, and air-dry clay. Each of these materials has brought new energy and enthusiasm into our classroom in its own unique way.\r\n\r\nThe folders, pencils, glue sticks, and Expo markers are used daily during lessons and activities. My students now have the tools they need right at their fingertips, which helps them stay organized, prepared, and ready to learn. It may seem like a small thing, but having these supplies readily available has built their confidence and independence. They no longer have to worry about not having a pencil or running out of glue for their projects—these simple tools have removed a barrier to learning and allowed them to focus fully on doing their best work.\r\n\r\nThe board games, such as Tetris Tower and Guess Who?, have become a highlight of our weekly Fun Friday sessions. Students look forward to these moments all week long. The games have helped them build teamwork, patience, and problem-solving skills, all while having fun. I've noticed how they encourage positive social interaction, communication, and laughter—things that are so important for a supportive classroom community. It's truly heartwarming to see students cheer each other on and share moments of joy through play.\r\n\r\nOur Perler bead sets have also been a huge hit! During Fun Friday or as part of our creative art center, students use them to design imaginative creations. The activity allows them to express their artistic sides while developing fine motor skills and perseverance as they carefully place each bead. Watching them beam with pride when they finish a project is one of my favorite parts of the week.\r\n\r\nThe calming stickers have been especially helpful on test days. Many students can become anxious or overwhelmed during assessments, so having a small, thoughtful item like a calming sticker provides comfort and motivation. It's a wonderful way to remind them to take a deep breath, believe in themselves, and do their best.\r\n\r\nThe digital classroom clock has been an unexpected but much-appreciated addition as well. It helps students manage their time more effectively and develop a sense of responsibility during transitions and independent work periods. Even this simple tool contributes to a smoother and more structured classroom environment.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes first arrived, my students were absolutely blown away by the generosity of complete strangers who believed in their learning and success. They could hardly believe that people they have never met took the time and effort to help our class. Their excitement as we unpacked each box was unforgettable. They asked questions about Donors Choose and were deeply touched to know that others care about their education.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only provided us with much-needed materials, but it has also inspired my students to pay kindness forward. They have learned firsthand what it means to give and to receive with gratitude. Because of your donations, our classroom feels more creative, joyful, and well-equipped for success.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart—thank you for supporting my students, our classroom, and the joy of learning. Your thoughtful gift has made a significant and positive impact on my students.\r\n\r\nYour donation has enhanced my students learning in meaningful ways:\r\n\r\n• Enhanced Listening Skills: The earphones provide my students with a clear and focused audio experience. This is especially beneficial for my English language learners, who are developing their listening and comprehension skills in a new language. With improved audio clarity, students can better understand spoken instructions and language nuances, which is essential for language acquisition.\r\n\r\n• Improved Pronunciation and Speech: The built-in microphones have opened new avenues for interactive learning. My students can now record their readings and presentations, allowing me to offer targeted feedback on pronunciation and fluency. This interactive approach has been key in boosting their confidence in speaking English.\r\n\r\n• Engaging and Inclusive Learning Environment: For my third graders, who are at a critical stage of literacy development, these tools have transformed their learning experience. By incorporating technology in the classroom, students are more engaged during lessons, which helps foster a love for learning and encourages collaborative activities.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and for investing in the future of young learners. I'm excited to witness the continued positive outcomes of your support.","fullyFundedDate":1733283890952,"projectUrl":"project/to-speak-and-hear-so-clear/8642940/","projectTitle":"To Speak and Hear So Clear!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Montez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1934976"},{"teacherId":9728850,"projectId":8737626,"letterContent":"I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you who have generously sponsored our multicultural book project. Your support has opened up a world of new possibilities for our classroom. These books have not only enriched our library but have also enhanced the way we approach reading and learning. In our classroom, reading is an active, dynamic experience. We don't just read the words; we dive into the stories, analyzing characters, exploring themes, and reflecting on how each text connects to the larger world. The multicultural books you've helped provide are especially powerful in this regard, as they introduce students to diverse viewpoints and experiences. These books are teaching important skills such as critical thinking, cultural awareness, empathy, and communication. They encourage students to question, reflect, and discuss—skills that will serve them well in school and beyond.\r\n\r\nIn particular, many of my students are deeply connecting with these new texts. For some, these stories offer a reflection of their own lives, which helps to foster a sense of belonging and validation in the classroom. One student, for example, has been especially excited about the books that feature characters with similar cultural backgrounds to his own. He's often eager to share what he's learning and has even started bringing in stories from home to discuss. Another student, who initially struggled with reading, has found a new sense of joy in exploring books that highlight different cultural traditions. The excitement around these new books has sparked lively discussions, where students eagerly share their thoughts and perspectives, learning not only from the books but also from one another.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has made a tangible difference in these students' lives, helping them develop not only as readers but also as more empathetic and thoughtful individuals. Thank you for your generosity in supporting a project that goes beyond just books—it's about building a more inclusive, understanding, and compassionate community of learners.","fullyFundedDate":1725887899502,"projectUrl":"project/multicultural-books/8737626/","projectTitle":"Multicultural Books","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Vazquez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9728850"},{"teacherId":9736579,"projectId":8749691,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support in funding our classroom sensory project.\r\n\r\nMy students enjoyed the model clay the most. They were eager to play with all the materials donated.\r\n\r\nWe are currently working on peer collaboration.
