These materials will allow my students to feel safe while enjoying the heartwarming stories of many colorful characters to help them understand the feelings of others! Allowing my students to have personal space with a privacy cube will give them to opportunity to relax and explore the lessons of how their actions can affect others. It will also help to get my students talking about their feelings and ideas to encourage and support emotional awareness. These books and other materials will give my students a designated area where they can choose to go to calm down, read a book, take time to process their actions and feelings, or just be alone.
