Our school is about to start its pilot year as an Arts Integration School. As an Arts Integration School, students will be given daily opportunities to learn through various arts form, including dance and movement. In support of learning through dance and movement, a brand new dance studio has been created to give students an authentic and exciting space for this type of learning. For many students, exposure to learning through dance will be the only experience with dance they will have in their lives. After this project is funded, our entire school of diverse students with many diverse learning needs will be able to experience learning in a whole new way. It is important our students have unique opportunities to learn and the supplies necessary to equip our dance studio will help them accomplish just that. It is our school’s hope that not only will our students excel academically by learning through the arts but may also discover new passions. Our students will love the opportunity to use these tools in their new dance studio to support their learning!
