I am looking to enhance my students' learning experiences in my classroom by incorporating a large rug to use for many different things. My students meet daily during our "Crew" or also known as morning meeting. During this time, we spend time team building, discussing important character building related topics and I conduct a daily read aloud. This carpet will help provide a comfortable space for my students to participate in this important daily activity. I would also use this rug during mini-lessons as a place for my students to come and sit while I instruct using the interactive white board. The rug will provide students with a place to sit and have easy access to using the interactive white board, making instruction more meaningful.
