The STEAM materials will allow students hands-on experiences to practice social skills, collaboration and allow their imaginations to soar. The materials I am asking for will provide my students with background information and hands-on activities to encourage engagement in learning. They will build, create, explore and solve real-world situations with the help of their creativity. With support of this project you are helping place the future in the palm of their hands. My goal is to have my classroom be a place where students are free to explore different materials and concepts, work on constructing solutions to problems, and engage in the designing process through the use of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. These materials will also be used for an afterschool STEM club to give other students the opportunity to create with these elements.
