Our life skills class are in need of special seat cushions / disks in order to help lower stress, anxiety, fidgeting and stemming. Student will be using the seat cushions every day in many different environments to provide a sense of comfort and release tension. These seat cushions will allow learning to overcome behavior. Also, the swivel chairs will provide appropriate stemming for some students that are in need of that extra motivation to pay attention. The swivel chairs will be placed at individual learning stations. The last item on our Life Skills Project list is the Times Kids magazine. Our class will use these current event magazines to learn appropriate book reports, learn and discuss current events, use information to form personal opinions, and voting.
