For example, one student prefers sitting on the floor with her laptop and headphones during math review, while another enjoys journaling in a cozy spot off to the side. These options have helped students stay more focused, feel more comfortable, and take more pride in their work.\r\n\r\nOur next step is a student-led classroom design project. Students are working on identifying which seating options help them learn best and will soon help create learning zone signs to guide their peers.
