The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help to expose my students to a wide variety of literature. The books will be used for independent reading, subject specific instruction, and read alouds. The donations to this project will help to improve my students’ literacy skills which will result in tremendous writing skills. We will use these materials to aid us in the process of becoming lifelong readers and writers, all while developing a love for reading. As a first year teacher, I desire to provide my students with a sufficient, yet diverse classroom library. Thank you!
