Help me support our reading and writing units through the use of books that celebrate diversity and are relatable for my students. Once this project is funded I plan to hold virtual interactive read alouds to support our lessons and teach my students reading and writing skills that will help them become stronger readers and writers. Given the changes in education due to the pandemic, these books will support student learning by modeling important literacy strategies. These books will also help to inspire and motivate students throughout our literacy units.
