As a white teacher, my goal is to give my students access to various stories and experiences. Most of my students identify as children of color yet my classroom library does not reflect their everyday experiences. Help me expand my classroom library by providing books for my students that give them "windows" into to other's lives and "mirrors" to reflect their own identity and experiences. In an education system where voices of color and rarely given space, access to diverse literature is one step in the right direction. My students will enjoy these books and be able to share them with their loved ones.
