My students will be blown away by our new library/reading area in our classroom. I plan on making my students love reading by creating an area that is just for them. A calming environment that encourages sitting, relaxing, and getting a good book to read. I hope this area inspires my students to read more than they would outside of the classroom. Readers turn into leaders, and my classroom is always full of world changers. This area will be student run and student lead. I will have certain students in charge of the library and other students in charge of keeping the are clean. I want them to have pride in their classroom and to know its just as much theirs as it is mine. With your help my students can love their home away from home.
