This kit includes everything needed to start growing and can easily be supplied for future years. The entire set-up is space saving so it can easily be incorporated into the daily activities of the classroom. Learning about how plants grow are part of our Next Generation Science Standards and our Nevada State standards. Not only will this Aerogarden growing tower help these students meet these standards, it will help foster a love for growing and enjoying vegetables for a life time. Students will get to enjoy the fruits of their labor, and learning. We will incorporate tasting. In addition, voting for new plants, opinion writing and step by step plant care will be incorporated into our existing writing curriculum. Plant growth over a month can be calculated and measured enhancing existing math standards as well.
