Learning in an Integrated Co-Teaching setting allows students with learning differences to receive a free and appropriate education with their peers. The learning environment at times can be a challenge for some kids, especially in large class sizes of over 30. Providing students with learning differences the opportunity to learn in a flexible way, allows students to feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. The bean bags and other seating options would make it possible for us to create a calm, quiet and engaging environment for the students by easing their sensory issues, and enabling them to take an active role in learning.

About my class
