Numerous studies have shown that play is an essential part of learning for preschoolers. It is also believed that the rise in sensory issues are stemmed from the decline of play in preschoolers. These sensory materials and toys will provide my students with more options on expanding their imagination, sparking their creativity, and developing their learning. Our dramatic play center is in need of a home living center. Our blocks center is in need of accessories that will promote language. The sensory materials are much needed as it encourages our children to learn with all 5 senses.
