Within my program, my students learn through play. Throughout our school year my students have seven units that they explore with. These units are; all about me, buildings, transportation, clothing unit, trees & plants, transformation and recycling unit. Materials that I am asking for will be implemented within these seven units of study. For example, one of the items I am requesting is a design your own car. During the transportation unit, each student will be provided with their own car that they will be able to design and use in numerous centers in the classroom. Students who opt for remote learning, we will send all the materials they may require so they can join us in the fun. These materials will allow my students to explore through play and provide them with the visual support that they require, especially for my non-verbal students.
