Kindle Fire tablets will take our classroom learning centers to a new level. Students will be able to access a vast library of books, appealing to their diverse interests. We will also use apps to provide fun, engaging math enrichment activities, as well as websites designed to provide appropriate remediation. The tablets will provide a tool that I can use to meet the diverse learning needs of all of my students. We know that everyone learns differently. It is incredibly important to provide students with tools that they need to meet their potential. Kindle Fire will provide access to countless apps and websites that I can use to plan individualized strategy lessons for each and every student. The tablets will also open the door to numerous research possibilities as well. Throughout the year, my students study culture and compare/contrast communities around the world. We also celebrate Women's History Month with a special research project highlighting the contributions women have made worldwide. I am excited to embark on this new learning adventure!
