Weighted vests have been proven to help kids feel a sense of calm and maintain focus, which helps with behavioral and academic success. Unfortunately, we have many students who are academically under performing. As a school counselor, it's my job to make sure kids are building resiliency, fine-tuning their inter-personal skills, and developing coping skills and the strategies necessary to have a successful and happy future. These sensory weighted vests will help give some of our underachieving students a chance to soar! These kids are our future! Lets help them be the best they can be by giving them the tools necessary to learn.
