In a class of 25 students 4% are not proficient readers and will not graduate in the future. 9% are basic readers and will also not graduate. 23% are below basic readers and will also not graduate. All together that is 36% of each class of 25 will not graduate in the future. Let's make the next generation greater. I will work on this by helping students read and read and read. The more you read the better reader you will become. Let's get that 36% down. I want my students to have lots of choices of books to keep them reading.
