I am asking for help. Unfortunately, I can't give them the world. Although, they deserve it. These kids come from disadvantaged homes, so I want their learning environment the best that it can be. What we can do is give them the supplies they need to make them readers, which will turn them into Lawyers, Doctors, and Presidents. Being able to read is such an essential step in getting these children involved and loving school and wanting to learn. Without being able to read, they feel defeated and have no desire to move on.
