A MacBook would be an amazing resource for my classroom. My goal for this resource would to use it to provide supplemental support to my students either in person or online. It will enable me to engage with my students by providing real-time feedback on assignments such as document-based essays to make sure they stay on the right track in our curriculum, as well as allow me to provide translation help to my English Language Learner students. In addition, it will make it even quicker and easier for me to score my AP World History students' essays as they prepare for the AP Test in May. Success on these exams is particularly crucial as it allows students to earn college credit in a much less cost-prohibitive fashion and turns the dream of college into more of a reality. I'm also the tennis coach and the boys golf coach, so this laptop will make it easier for me to upload match scores, manage team rosters and stay up to date with player registrations.
