The use of privacy boards and nameplate displays is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in reading and during testing. The privacy boards allow my students to focus on their individual work, without distraction. The nameplate displays allow them to use not only their names but the resources on the nameplate effectively. What becomes a problem is the fact that the name tags and privacy boards do not last long. Without these resources, the students become easily distracted, and for many of my students who have focusing issues, they miss important instruction from either myself or other students. By having these two resources students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand. Plus in this environment, any quiet time will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn!
