Having 31 amazing fifth graders who love to read, write, create, and share has been a real challenge during the Distance Learning phase of teaching. We have experienced the challenges of old computers, poor audio, and the frustration of trying to learn through this process. A laptop that enables students to communicate with their teacher and classmates, present their projects, and engage every member of the class would improve learning ten fold. Creativity, communication, and collaboration are essential skills of the 21st Century and a device that enables students to improve and polish their presentation skills through distance learning would be fantastic.

About my class
