All of our students want to learn, but sometimes their life outside of school gets in the way of that. Students often times come to school feeling sad, anxious, angry, and frustrated. Learning cannot happen when students are overwhelmed by these strong emotions. Teachers and school personnel are equipped to help students in these situations, but sometimes all students need is a safe space to go where they can unwind. The furniture, fidget toys, and office decor will help create a calming environment for students in need. By donating to my project, you will not only help students de-escalate strong emotions, but you will also be aiding them to focus on becoming better learners.

About my class
