This project will provide each of my students with a copy of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Most of our students come from lower socioeconomic background and receive government assistance. They do not have a financial advisor to guide and teach them how to make wise financial decisions or the basics of financial literacy. As a math teacher, I believe this is a skill that should be emphasized with my students. As a class, we will read and work through this book to discuss the information presented and how it can be applied to their lives after graduation.
