As a teacher teaching courses below grade level, it has been a task to put together curriculum without a textbook. I have pulled together various sources to prepare my students to take Algebra 1 next year. They have learned and practiced critical concepts via class discussion, taking notes, traditional worksheets and online practice. They have also made connections exploring via desmos and competed with Kahoots! It's time for the students to create works of art! My students will use the resources to create colorful posters and mini math booklets covering the key topics/concepts learned this year. They will work collaboratively in small groups to plan, execute and present their posters and booklets. The posters will beautify the classroom and the booklets will continue with them on their math journey next year. Please help bring math, color and creativity together for my students in this project!
