My students will be using these journals daily as they come into the classroom in the morning! The goal will be to provide an opportunity for them to be creative in their writing as well as give them a chance to reflect on how they're feeling as they come into school each day. I wish to create more writing opportunities for my students as well as give them a bit unstructured, differentiated, and independent activity to participate in every morning. My hope by utilizing these journals is that students will grow to love being writers and look forward to their journal entry daily.
