I started flexible seating, using items that I already had, this year and have seen so much growth in my students. They enjoy being able to pick a seat that is suitable for them and move while they are learning. The choices of seats and movement while working has allowed ALL of my students the opportunity to learn in a way that best fits their needs. My goal with this project is to take my flexible seating a step further and truly change the way learning takes place in a classroom! These new seating options will give my students in the coming years the ability to take ownership of their learning environment.

About my class
