The use of technology is a daily activity in my classroom. We use technology in so many ways: math, literacy, Social Studies, Science and Writing. In today's world students are expected to be fluent with technology since education does revolve so much around technology. My students in particular will soon become middle- schoolers and the demand on technology grows as they get older. I want to make sure my students leave elementary school feeling confident with the use of technology and prepared to tackle new goals. By providing my kids with headphones you are allowing them to grow as learners as they use them to listen to educational videos, work on math curriculum, take standarize tests, listen to books. Technology has definitely helped my students become engaged in their learning and make it more fun and interactive. It also has helped my students in need by allowing students to listen to the stories instead of having to read them themselves. I also have students who use the speech to text feature and these headphones would come in handy.
