COVID-19 has negatively impacted school in many ways. Because of CDC guidelines, water fountains are not able to be used. We need a water dispenser to provide adequate hydration to our kids. Most of our students are border crisis unaccompanied minors who also come from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds. They do not have access to resources that make it easy to get proper hydration/water bottles. This negatively affects their health (headaches, nausea, confusion), as well as their school performance making it difficult for them to focus and properly complete academic tasks.
