The headphones are for the enhancement of a literacy program we have at our school. With over 30 kids in a classroom at one time, we need headphones in order to keep from getting distracted in our learning. Students have made great improvements in their literacy skills with this program along with the teacher-directed lessons, but it could be greatly improved if they could focus even more. We have one to one Chromebooks in our classroom. Computer literacy is very important and this will enhance their skills. The exercise balls are for those kids that are continually on the move and can't sit still. Some kids need more movement throughout the day. These exercise balls will allow those kids to fidget while staying focused on what we are doing. I can assign them to particular kids that need them more and rotate the rest of the class through the other ones that aren't devoted to particular kids. This will allow all students to have the opportunity to sit on them.
