Although many of my students face financial disadvantages this does not stop their passion for learning. In fact, those disadvantages encourage them to seek better opportunities in the future. They are a diverse and talented group who look forward to embracing one another, as well as showing off their gifts. Our classroom needs furniture to create a comfy zone where a child can venture when they need that moment alone. The stuffed animals will add texture and comfort along with the furniture in our comfy area. The large carpet will be utilized as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. Your donation to our project will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement to reach their potential goals. Overall, my students enjoy coming to school and creating a learning culture in a positive environment. My students passion for learning encourages and reminds me on a daily basis of why I'm an educator and my passion for teaching.
