Our students need iPads! As mentioned, our students use a computer program called Raz Kids that has greatly helped them to improve their reading and comprehension skills. The points that they receive and levels that they climb are motivation for them to continue to strive towards improvement. However, our children only have Computer Class once per week. We would like to use the iPads to give the students more of a chance to work on Raz Kids and as a result, improve their reading and comprehension skills. The iPads will help our kids to learn how to do research and use information that they find in their writing. In our school, we update our door and our bulletin boards on a monthly basis. In order for the children to find information to use for their writing, they use computers. As mentioned though, there is not much time for the children to have access to the computer lab. This delays their process and it would be very helpful if our students had iPads at their fingertips! The children also enjoy various math and literacy games. With access to iPads the children will have more of an opportunity to use and benefit from those games We greatly appreciate any consideration given to our class! THANK YOU!
