These materials will give our students hands-on learning experience. They need to experience and not just listen to lectures. My students will actually enjoy the math lessons when we practice their adding and subtracting using these flip and solve math boards for the ones who are working on adding and subtracting, the giant Maganetic VISUAL chart will help their understanding as well. Some of my students can count up to 3 and some can count to 100 using the hands-on number board, peg boards and counting cones will make it more exciting and meaningful to them. The “Ten apples up on top” literature and math will help put meaning to the book and also work on their counting. The “letter crayon word center” can work for sorting and spelling and building their vocabulary. Also, preferential seating for my students who need to get their stemming/movement out in an appropriate manner using these wobble chairs. The doctor set seams to be the favorite community helper in the classroom, the kids enjoy acting out “Doctor” and Nurse” . All these materials we are asking for will help them experience learning in a fun meaningful way and will assure they get the best practice possible.
