My goal is to give students a variety of experiences in the arts. Finding joy in something comes with having an opportunity to experience it. I want to provide my students with these opportunities. Ukulele is a string instrument that fits well in the hands of young children. Students will be able to learn chords through playing a string instrument and learn simple songs at a young age. Fostering the love of music begins at an early age. When students feel successful at a young age they are more likely to continue to play as they get older and being part of a group of students that have the same interests.
