These materials will allow my students to use self exploration as we work through both math and language arts standards. My students are very motivated to learn when they can use manipulatives to explore new topics. With these materials, students will be able to foster a love of learning. Some of the manipulatives will be used with direct instruction and then students are able use them in independent centers. Lots of repetition is needed for students to retain new information. This project will provide a variety of materials will enable students to make connections and build on their prior knowledge.

About my class
