I can't wait to introduce my students to a new student-centered learning project that really fits in with my community! With your donation of the iPads with the 128 GB of memory, my students will have the opportunity to learn how to film themselves and others while creating projects that they have chosen for "genius hour", reader's theater, interviews, and so much more. The iPads for this project will allow my students of all abilities to learn about filming and editing while tapping into endless opportunities for them to express their creativity while learning. My school does not currently have technology of this caliber available to all students and so this type of project would not be possible because the very outdated tablets must be checked out and shared by the entire school. I know the filming and editing project will be a valuable experience I can give my students that they would not otherwise receive while in elementary school at my school site. I am looking forward to getting started!
