A lot of students in the area I teach face an uncertain future full of self-doubt. In my NEST Music Club, I have strived to open up a world for them where they can express themselves through music. In the beginning, our club has been gifted with guitars, and just last year a drum set was donated as well. Music can be an expensive endeavor, and we've been fortunate in what we have, but we still need to get that balance we need to make my students sound stronger. Your donations can help us complete our band with a bass guitar and amplifier. The bass guitar works closely with the drummer to provide the rhythm my students need when they are playing, plus it provides a lower sound to make my students sound stronger and fuller. With our NEST Music Club, I truly believe a whole new world of creative expression has been given to my students. They also learn collaboration and social skills which will give them confidence and self-esteem to help them achieve success academically, and, most importantly, give them a brighter future in whatever they desire to do in life.
