These materials will help my students practice their target language skills in American Sign Language. Use of such materials can be adapted to fit a variety of different vocabulary units as well as practice their facial and body language/expression which is essential in ASL. Such materials will be beneficial to not only their expression of the language itself, but also to their comprehension of others using the language and the culture of the Deaf community. My classroom works to provide a variety of everyday language experiences in order to not only increase language proficiency but also social skills, social manners, self confidence, and a positive self-image and comfort within their own skin.

About my class
