Unfortunately, there is still one barrier that remains for our transformation to a truly digital classroom. Our classroom display system is still an outdated and old projector system that makes it very difficult for me to demonstrate new concepts to the whole class. I feel that critical learning opportunities, those teachable moments, are being lost due to my inability to effectively display my teaching content. In addition, while my students are indeed creating wonderful digital projects, our current display system makes it almost impossible for my students to share their digital creations with the rest of their classmates. Again, those teachable moments are being lost. A large mounted flat screen TV, combined with Apple TV, will bring my classroom digital display system up to the next level. It is what my classroom needs to take full advantage of the digital classroom road we've all embarked on. My teaching will be made better. Student collaboration and sharing will be enhanced. Those teachable moments will no longer be lost. Student learning will not only improve by leaps and bounds academically but also technologically which will increase their chances for success in the future. I hope you consider impacting the lives of my 21 students in way that will last a lifetime. Thank you for your consideration in donating to our cause.
