I have a mental picture of hundreds of red paper lanterns are hanging from the hallway ceilings, New Year scrolls and Spring Festival couplets are posted outside of each classroom door throughout our school, and every Chinese student is showing his/her friends origami dumplings. Chinese is not an easy language to learn, but my students are enthusiastic learners. Through learning how Chinese people celebrate Chinese New Year, students are to learn food, clothes, activities, and family in the target language. These art supplies will provide my students with great culture experience in preparation of the Spring Festival celebration. I am planning to use the instant camera to capture the proud moment of my students and post the pictures around the school.
