We are a small school district in Michigan, that is struggling to stay afloat. The economy and housing market here is sinking fast. In the past 5 years we have gone from three elementary schools down to one. With sinking enrollment we struggle to make ends meet and only have money to provide students with the necessary things. The "extras" that make learning more enjoyable, either are not purchased or they are left to teachers to purchase.
