My second grade students come from many unique and diverse backgrounds. These students are inquisitive and eager to learn. Nearly 70% of the students are living below the poverty line. It is my hope and mission to make school a place for them to shine, grow and feel safe. Many of my students come to school with no school supplies at all at the beginning of the year due to their financial circumstances. I am looking for support in providing my students with the basic materials they will need to be successful in the classroom.
